Daniel S. Stackhouse, Jr. holds a Ph.D. in history from Claremont Graduate University and is an author, historian, speaker, and teacher. Among his publications are: “Telephone Diplomacy: The Secret Talks Behind US-Soviet Detente During the Cold War, 1969-1977,” “Rebellion to Tyrants is Obedience to God: The Role of Christianity in the American Revolution,” and “Founded on Freedom: Why You Should Be Proud of the Birth of America.” His forthcoming book is “The Reagan Plan: How the Fortieth President Fought the Cold War.”
